Returned from Italy!

It's been ages since I've submitted to dA primarily because work has taken much of my free time and I've lost my muse for illustrating. However, I took plenty of photos in Italy, where I've visited for the first time for two weeks! The cityscapes and countryside are beautiful, and they provided plenty of photograph opportunities. I've posted a few of my more artistic and funny photos from my trip, and I'll be sure to post more for your entertainment.

Back to the Drawing Board...

Hey everyone, it's been quite a long time since I last wrote a journal entry and since I posted any work on my gallery, but I appreciate all the comments, faves and watches (for you new watchers out there, thank you and welcome!).
I've become more active now on dA because I recently lost my job. After 2.5 years of working with this last practice my employer changed my contract with less favorable terms. Since it was abundantly clear that my employer did not value me and my job's location wasn't really a prime real estate choice (known by SoCalians as the "armpit of California"), it was time we parted ways and for me to return home to LA. Although I'm not making money right now, I'm a whole lot happier with my folks during the holidays and not stressed out.
Hopefully I can churn out more submissions for my gallery here. I've been trying to draw more works either original or other series that interest me (hence the B7 and Medievil entries), but for all you FF6 fans of mine I'll get back to it soon. Maybe with a little luck and inspiration (and a boba in my belly) I can revive a certain comic series...
